Well, we're two days into a third lockdown and I think we've eaten the entire pantry and then some...
Seriously, I forgot how much we all graze when we're at home 24x7! It didn't help that we made Anzac cookies this morning (yum!) which we ate way too many of, while the kids started five apples and put them back in the fruit bowl, half finished multiple packets of chips and spilt their juice everywhere. I lost count of how many coffees we drank today!
But anyway, I wanted to include some activities we've been doing and things that I've been loving.
Activities from Kids Craft Box. Kirsten put some freebie colouring in sheets up on her website for Anzac Day today and the kids loved it!
Playdough. Always playdough. We buy our own or make the recipe that Anna from The Small Folk posted way back in 2018. Such a hit! Bonus points if you can make it glittery!
This home hack article on Mamamia - so many things I want to try now!
Mothers Day grazing boxes - I have instructed John (strongly) to get me one of these for Mothers Day!
I'm eying off a new pair of Frankie4's... but the question is, what colour?
I found out recently that Liarne Moriarty has a new book coming out! It's this one. Have you read her others? I devoured them!
And lastly, I leave you with this, from the Australian War Memorial in recognition of Anzac Day today:
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
